Normally when an owner receives an e-mail, it is to complain about something that has bothered the customer. More often than not, it is a lack of service and follow up. As a previous owner, I speak from experience.

I am very pleased to advise you that your employees from Graham in sales, Phoebe in contracts, Richard in parts, Shawn in service to Gary in technical help, all have one thing in common. They all provided quality, timely, and extremely helpful information and answers to all our numerous questions and problems.

We first met Graham at the annual show in March at the fairgrounds. We told him we were purchasing a 5th wheel from a friend, but we would like to learn more about trailers. He spent an hour and a half with us, going through all the different types of units, together with the pros and cons of each unit. To be polite, I took his business card at the end, never intending to contact him.

Time when on, where we decided not to buy the 5th wheel, but letโ€™s call that really nice salesmen that took the time and effort to explain and answer all of our questions. Luckily my wife kept his card.

We called Graham, and 3 weeks later we purchased a Rockwood travel trailer.

It has been about 30 years since we last owned a trailer, so many things have changed.

Graham helped us pick out exactly what we wanted, you helped in coming close to our price range, Phoebe helped with the contracts, banking, insurance and warranty paper work.

Richard was very patient with our many questions on everything we needed to properly equip the trailer.

Two weeks after you delivered the trailer to our house, we could not get the attached BBQ to work. Shawn arranged to send a technician to our house to fix it. We could not believe it. That is when we met Garry. Not only did he repair the problem, but he also spent an additional 20 minutes answering our maintenance questions regarding the unit.

Fast forward, a month and a half, and we have the propane alarm that goes on intermittently. I phoned Shawn, and told him of the problem, and he arranged to send a technician to look at the problem. Again, we could not believe this. Unbelievable service.

To make it even better, Gary shows up again to solve the problem.

Layne, we are truly amazed at the level of customer service that you provide your customers. Your entire staff deserves a giant pat on the back for the effort and manner in which they treat every customer.

Both Jayne and I, will definitely be telling everyone about Vermont Country Campers, and we will also definitely be purchasing our next trailer from Vermont Country Campers.

Please spread the word to your entire staff.

Do you have a STORAGE or instant water heater? If so have the emissions checked they may be over the 400 ppm CO limit.

If they burn at the orifice when they start, itโ€™s a poor burner design. Check for obstructions (spider webs first). Also check the tank volume the 6 gallons are really only 5.6 to 5.0 gallons

The AC units are over rated by 25%, 16,000 btu./hr.

are only 12,000 btu./ hr. is a common practice of the industry.

Donโ€™t start a grill under an awning unless you like fires, they donโ€™t meet their fire ratings.

The water heaters are currently under the Canadian Standards Association (CSA) review.

I wish our interactions with FR could have been as service oriented.

I have a similarly bad experience with Forest River and their Cardinal brand. With all the defects acknowledged by Forest River in May, during am initial conversation, I am still waiting!

Still no response, with multiple follow up emails and phone calls having yet to be returned.
