2016 Forest River Legacy Sr 340 Rv Review from Dewitt, Iowa
Well my husband and I just bought our first
Motor home back in November 2015, $160,000 + about $10,000 in extras, in motion satellite, car haller tow package, we were so excited. We were on the road December 24th 2015 everything was great we thought, well first we found out our fridge was not working we lost all of our food, that took a month to fix, then the hot water heater had a recall, that was over $300 we had to pay out of our pocket, then I noticed the wall from our shower was coming away from the wall nice!
And the track to the shower track was bent, then our ceilings light started going out one by one, and I was vacuuming one day and I could see daylight coming from the floor slid outs there was no seal, our wall paper starting to come away from the wall, our sink fixtures were all loose, our 1/2 bath sink takes forever to drain, the couch foam is already breaking down, almost all of awning lights are almost burnt out, our washer was leaking, and NOW our shower is leaking behind the wall and into our bedroom and we got mold! I'm so pissed!
Now we are in Texas where my husband is working and we are still trying to get this stuff fixed, so i called a attorney today I'm done! O and one more thing don't try and put nice dishes in the cupboard won't hold them, ours started to sag you should see how they fixed it lol!
Reason of review: Bad quality.

We have a legacy that the welds are falling we are paying to have it fixed $2400 after paying 180000 what a rip off. They sold us a extended warranty that doesnโt cover structure, how would think an rv would have structural problems after 1 yr and 3 months old.. Long view has the worst repair shop ever and forest river my advise get a lawyer we are, see you in court.
my first R.V. was a coachman 2016 by Forest river, lots of problems.
only 4,000 miles on it. on the way to Florida on vacation I stopped off in South Carolina and traded it in for a 2018 coachman. Some small problems but had them fixed.
Let me tell you this Boat and R.V. are not known for great service.
DEFINITELY GET AN ATTORNEY. Get aware of the lemon laws in your state.
You're still covered under some State Statutes. I am so tired of trying to deal with these people that I am not anymore. I bought a new Sprinter Chassis Motorhome and as soon as I paid for my unit and signed the papers they revealed a certain hazardous issue to me and sent me down the road. I have not been able to drive my vehicle since new.
That's OK, Forest River is about to get a lesson in the Law from my Attorney. Meanwhile upper management may want to start paying attention to the middle management clowns they have working for them. They are putting the company in an extremely liable position everyday. I even had one yell at me and tell me my post was one way and that I should change it.
RIGHT.
Did you ever get everything fixed? We are having problems with ours, also.
