Forest River - EVO T2300 awful quality and under-rated tires
Bought a new EVO T2300. Found tires were not rated to carry the trailer.
Bought and installed 5 new tires for $450 to solve the problem. Found the sound system making rattling noises. Opened ceiling 'A' speakers, and found them filled with metal + wood debris. Bought new speakers to replace the two damaged 'A' speakers.
Tried to connect a subwoofer to the Drive entertainment center. Removed the electronics unit, and found it was full of wood debris. It was also hot even though it was not powered on! Found the DC power + USB charging station loose because the opening in the cabinet had been made with a hammer!
The plywood was smashed and splintered around the opening edges.
DO NOT BUY A FOREST RIVER EVO TRAVEL TRAILER UNLESS YOU ARE A CRAFTSMAN WHO CAN REPAIR EVERYTHING!!! Forest River refused to fix anything for me.
Reason of review: Damaged or defective.
Monetary Loss: $10000.
Preferred solution: Price reduction.
Forest River Pros: Travel trailer, Size of travel trailer, Floor plan.
Forest River Cons: Quality of product, Quality of design and assembly.
