Purchased new 2009 FR Stealth. Serious issues; generator, air conditioner,

hot water heater, leaking sink, floor issues etc.

I wrote FR CEO and before he received the certified letter, our local Warranty Rep suggested we email the same letter to the FR Warranty Manager. We did and with in twelve hours we received notice that our warranty extended as requested. Received the postal letter today confirming our warranty is extended. GOOD JOB FOREST RIVER!

My faith is restored, I was very concerned after reading all the complaints.

Wow, finally a good comment.

The internet is a great place, and the worst place, to find information.

It wouldn't matter if Forest River or any other manufacturer built 100 good trailers and had 1 bad one, for all the publicity and bad comments on that one bad experience, it may as well be the other way around.

I'm not an advocate for any of these companies, but I will say however, whenever you're buying anything that has a lot of small print, no only must YOU MUST TAKE THE TIME TO READ IT, but also understand it.

If you don't understand, ASK someone to explain it to you, don't feel *** for asking what may seem like a simple question, because you may just end up being the one to write these negative comments.

I'm in a very competitive industry, and I'm constantly trying to rescue clients from situations that in many cases, all that was required was for them to READ THE SMALL PRINT.

There would be much less frustration if you simply just took the extra time to read through everything, and if you're not happy with what you are reading, don't buy it.

Let me justify further my statement further; 1. Hail damage- not FR's fault but that was just the beginning 2.

Left side peeled off going down the highway 3. Water leak ruined kitchen cabinet 4. Right side peeled off going down the highway. Was told factory had installed siding 1/4 shorter than required.

Sent back to factory for second reskinning after hail damage.

Still trying to get warranty issues resolved from that. Story has lots more to it than that but lets just say that after only using it THREE times, then I WILL NEVER BUY A FOREST RIVER PRODUCT AGAIN!

Apparently you haven't been dealing with the same warranty manager we have been dealing with. Our WM is Pat Stratton supposedly over the Wildwood division. When a man can tell you over the phone "I was told you're the type person who'll never be happy" when trying to get our RV fixed for over a year and a half then someone has a problem with customer service.,
