We own a 2016 27RR toy hauler. After 4 weeks, 2nd trip we blew a tire....
Had that replaced and before we got back home the tires started to rub on the frame. Called the dealer from the road, AOK in Laurie MO. They told us to call Forest River. Forest River asked us to send a pic of the axles with a straight edge.
Axles were bent. They then told us that we overloaded the trailer or hit something. They DO NOT warranty any items they don't make themselves. Called the dealer again and no help.
The stock axles are rated at 3500 lbs on a trailer rated for almost 8000 lbs. You are supposed to make up the difference in hitch weight. We spent over 2000 to have upgrade axles tires and wheels and after a year went to trade it in at the same dealer and are being told its not worth much because the outside metal has begun to crack above the windows and doors. When we asked there service manager if he had ever seen this before he said, "all the time".
AOK in Laurie is very nice on the front end but offer no help with issues.
We have been doing business there over 15 years and never had an issue until this. They will not offer help if you have a problem after the sale, but they will treat you great when you hand them your money.
