In 2004 we purchased a forest river r.v 26' class b. We have had the whole interior replaced twice due to leaking roof and mold issues.

Everytime I think how fun it will be to go on a trip I go in to clean and find again falling interior and moldy situation. can't fix the leak I guess because they put channels on roof with about 500 holes and screws. The center of roof sits lower than the edges so any condensation that builds up under tarp leaks into same area each time. I try calling them and they direct me to general manager but oh' suprise I get disconnected.

"IMAGINE" I believe in buying American but I have to say I am not proud of them! Should have just stayed in motels/hotels would have been cheaper!

I leave messages for the "right person" and they never call me back. We have a 2006 that is trashed because of roof issues.

It's very upsetting. Time to lawyer up, I guess.

I feel the frustration of the original poster. However, I'd like to share OUR experience with Gillette's, don't know about Forest River Products...

The wife and I needed to kill some time before an MSU game, so we stopped by their lot to browse. After the game we stopped back by and ended up purchasing a superb used unit! Thanks to Josh (our salesman) for being so knowledgable as this is our first camper! Ben in the service department quickly expelled any and all fears we had about the RV's operations and now we can't wait till Spring to head up North!

Thanks to the whole crew at Gillette's for making this a painless, first buying experience! On a sidenote, this is the first time I can remember the In-Laws saying to me about what a good decision I made!

They said in a couple months they'll be shopping with you guys SO HEADS UP! Don't worry, I know you'll make a great impression with them too!
