Forest River - Lousy workmanship causes fire hazard
I've had multiple workmanship problems in my 2015 Forest River Rockwood 2604WS trailer, so many that I've lost count. Today's problem is the straw that will probably break the camel's back.
While under my trailer I discovered that the straps that secure the cast iron propane gas line had failed. At one location the screw that attaches the strap to the trailer frame was entirely missing, possibly because it's not possible to fully tighten the screw without damaging the strap.
At another location the screw head had pulled through the hole in the retaining strap because the hole is too large for the screw. The absence of support for the gas line allows it to move due to vibration and could result in a fracture and resulting fire or explosion.
Reason of review: Bad quality.

Forest River Pros: Layout, Price.
