I purchased a tracer 2850RED 6 weeks ago and its been in the dealership more than in my driveway getting repaired. The kitchen table base was stripped and the table fell over, the roof needs to be replaced because there are staples pushing through the rubber membrane (the staples shouldn't even be there), the shower leaks from not caulking properly on the bottom track, the rear window and the kitchen side window both leak, the refrigerator door outside was put on backwards, the rubber gasket on stove just hangs there, the track for the door in bedroom had all stripped screws and was falling down, the grey tank was full of unnecessary construction debris keeping it from draining, the wood on the slide was missing a big chunk of wood, the switch plate on the bedroom light was hanging off and needed to be reinstalled, all these issues could have been avoided if the workers took some pride.
Maybe if the factory paid the workers more than 11.00 an hour and didn't have to pay dealer techs 50.00 an hour for warranty work they would have a better product. But I guess if you get as wealthy as Warren Buffet you just don't care anymore.
Shame on Forest River for putting out such a careless built product, I would never purchase anything from you again nor will I recommend you. You buy these units to have family time and relax not run around with a caulk gun and a screw driver along with several trips to a hardware store.
Reason of review: Bad quality.
I liked: Floor plan.
I didn't like: Warranty.
