We brought a brand new Forest River Shadow cruiser it is a piece of junk I fixed six water leaks we have owned this camper 5 months the water pump don't work went outside speaker don't work we bought this brand new the light above the table keep shutting off All the cabinets have fell through they were built terrible I had to reinforce them all when it rained water came in around the window I fix that we had called places that fixed Forest River campers, they said it would take at least 6 months or so forest river to do anything about so one by one I slowly fix things as they happen not happy with this company will never buy again

I have a 2008 2 slide, 34 Ft. Sierra.
It has a queen bed in the bedroom with a full length closet, full dresser, and another 2 drawer cabinet in it as well. Decent sized bathroom and living area. Definitely wish there was more counter space but it works.
We have completely upgraded the inside, but the outside sticker decals with the graphics and the name are sun faded and now peeling off. Most RV parks are denying us due to it being the year it is and how the outside looks.
I have been diligently trying to find replacements but can NOT find any anywhere! I was advised by a dealer I have to contact the Manufacturer directly to get these.
Sent an email, am pending a response. I pray they're not going to be ridiculously expensive.

Warranty
we purchased a new coachman catalina 303 on july 29, 2023. didnt even get out of the driveway with it before our first problem with the refrigerator, these new 12 volt units are junk.
back to the dealer to find the problem. two days later finally get to use it for the first time. second trip out camping two weeks later 12 volt refrigerator not cooling, lost half our food due to this. front a/c not cooling also but goodness the back a/c works well.
lots of other smaller problems such as wall paper peeling, fasteners backing out of walls, light fixtures malfunctions. back to the dealer, been there going on two weeks now waiting on forest river and/or thier vendors to approve the warranty work. very long and drawn out process for something brand new, just to get the work approved. then the problem of getting the parts to repair the problems is a whole other issue.
very poor in my eyes as to customer service, almost two weeks to get the big issues approved to find out no one knows when parts or replacements will get to dealer. this is our 3rd RV we have purchased from this dealer, although we have owned many more thru the years. but im pretty sure we will think twice before buying another forest river product again if this is the best they can do. another one of these companies that is more concerned with buying up companies as fast as can for a brand name.
then think the brand name will carry them without putting in the work that made the name a brand to trust. my parents owned many a coachman when i was kid growing up.
but this isnt our parents RV anymore. damn shame on forest river .

We purchased a2021 wildwood heritage glen 22rbhl on 1-16-21 from Northland Rv Rockford Mi and have had a consistent problem with the slide out. It is now in for service because it is pulling weather seal from Rv body and scaring side of slide out.
The slide out malfunction when getting new purchase at dealership and has hade to be serviced several times since while on the road. I am requesting reimbursement for this present service at Northland. Also have had other issues such as: skylight.leaking (self repaired), fender skirts cracking at crew holes,shower leaking (self repaired), handle broken on grey water drain, stabilizers weak, roller on interior of slideout came unattached.
We have enjoyed our RV but concerned with issues when camping on the road. Thank you for allowing us to voice our concerns.

WE purchased a 2022 Forest River Rockwood Lite 5th wheel camper in March of 2022 (NEW). It has been at the service center more than we have had it!!!
The slides do not work. The main living area slide has not worked from the beginning and has not been fixed after 2 attempts and is currently on its 3rd attempt to be fixed. The master bedroom slide broke during our 2nd time using it. The kitchen slide makes a poping noise everytime you use it.
Forest River's warranty representative was RUDE and said they will only extend the warranty until JUNE and we'll probably fix the slides after it expires because of the issues you've had previously (really - DOES anyone believe that?). This camper cost ~$80,000 - we should not be having these issues and certainly Forest River should be busting their tails to fix it, but they act like it is not big deal for us to drag our camper 2 hours away to the service center and wait MONTHS for it to be worked on. All the while paying the payments and getting zero pleasure from the unit.
TERRIBLE!!! DO NOT BUY these campers!!

The worse company to deal with EVER!
If anyone out there is thinking of buying an RV from Forest River, I strongly suggest look else where!! They don't care about their customers or handle claims in a timely manner.
They warranty is worthless when you have a problem good luck getting reimbursed for any claim you file they will find something to deny it even under the warranty. We were denied for a claim when our slide broke, heater didn't work and microwave was disconnected all this still under warranty.
We bought a brand new 2022 R-POD so we would not have problems, but right off the bat nothing but problems. I would rate them a zero If I could.

What an absolute horrible industry. There are far too many problems and complaints.
Can I get your contact info, filing a law suit for them to replace mine. I too am in $110,000. everything is breaking.
