Purchased a new 2013 FR Salem Classic Villa in 2013. Had three new tvs first year two from factory.
The one that was in it lasted only a few weeks. Called factory, sent us another one. It would not even come on. Called factory back sent us another one it lasted three weeks.
Husband through it in the trash and went to Walmart and got us a nice flat screen and it has been working fine for the last two years. Now we have leaking seals which have rotted our walls, slide out floor, cabinets, bed frame and damaged carpet. WENT TO DEALER WHERE WE PURCHASED IT, OCEAN LAKES RV IN MYRTLE BEACH, SC AND THEY TOLD US TO GO SOMEWHERE ELSE TO HAVE IT FIXED THEY DIDN'T HAVE TIME. Called factory and they agreed to send parts but we had to pay Camping World $3,000 for labor to fix it.
CAMPING WORLD SAID THE FACTORY SENT THE WRONG PARTS AND They made it worse. We can see the ground from the inside of the villa. CAMPING WORLD did not repair walls, cabinets, replace carpet, replace floor. BEWARE!
DO NOT PURCHASE FOREST RIVER PRODUCTS BECAUSE WHEN THE ONE YEAR WARRANTY GOES YOU ARE LEFT WITH A VILLA THAT YOU HAVE PAID LOTS OF $$$$ FOR AND CAN'T USE.
I HAVE CALLED THE FACTORY AND SENT PICTURES AND THEY WILL NOT RETURN OUR CALLS.
