We wanted to purchase a Surveyor 321bh. Found one in California, we are in Phoenix.

Spoke to the owner a few times and was considering purchasing from him. Went to a local dealer to look at a different model just to get an idea of how they looked. They, of course offered to order a new one and give us a good deal. Suddenly the California dealer stopped taking our calls and after emailing him, he informed us that we needed to work with the local dealer.

We got a written quote from the local dealer and decided to go ahead and order from them. When we sat down with the general manager the price was then $3000 more then the quote. Not only would he not honor the quote, in addition he makes 2 inappropriate sexual comments to me. We contact the sales manager for the west coast give him the info and he says he will make some calls and see what he can do for us.

First he will try to get the quoted price at another dealer. New dealer calls the next day and is again $3000 higher. Speak to sales manager again and he will call and see if he can get a better price. Sales manager calls back next day and now the price is $1500 more than the day before.

This has been the most frustrating and insulting experience ever. It is unbelievable that Forest River has such disrespectful dealers representing their company.

Reason of review: Pricing issue.

I liked: Floor plan, Trailer layout.

I didn't like: Poor dealer warranty, Customer service.
