My camper is just under a year old, and the water heater quit working. We tried cleaning it out by using a compressor to blow out any dirt or spider webs that may have been in it.

We tried lighting it manually, but it just goes out. There seems to be gas getting to the heater, because it blew flames out the side on one attempt... I have no way to get the camper to a repair location, so I will have to buy and install a new water heater myself.

I bought additional insurance, but have no idea why I spent the extra money. I am wishing that I had checked Forest River reviews a year ago,

Product or Service Mentioned: 2016 Forest River Wildwood Rv.

Reason of review: Poor customer service.

Monetary Loss: $350.

Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.

I didn't like: Impossibility of getting something fixed.

Don't buy a new heater unless the tank leaks. You Tube can show you how to trouble your heater, they are not anymore complicated than installing a new unit.
