Bought a new 2015 Cardinal 3850 from Freedom RV in Spokane WA. Sat in there parking lot 2 1/2 weeks waiting for them to deliver the trailer.

First trip out lost all power, made it to Missoula MT. Put slides out for night but could not put them back in next AM. Called mobile repair as instructed by Forest River, cranked slide out in with pipe wrench. Took doors off bathroom, bed room to give access.

Thus started a three week odyssey across the U.S. trying to get it fixed at Forest River dealerships. Taking doors off bed and moving to living room every night. During trip blew all four tires off, replaced all hydraulic lines off level system jacks, water tank fell out bottom of trailer, electric system still messed up.

Could go on and on but bottom line DON'T EVER BUY A FOREST RIVER PRODUCT.

WORST 5th Wheel I HAVE EVER OWNED.

Review about: 2015 Forest River Cardinal 3850rl Rv.

Reason of review: Bad quality.

I have a 2013 3550 cardinal rl. The water tank dropped down 4 inchesBroke the plastic on bottom.

The tank was not bolted in at all .No help from Forest River yet. Very disappointing, Lucky I caught it before it fell out.

Follow up on above. If Forest River tells you they will pay your out of pocket expense.

DON'T BELIEVE IT. OVER 3K IN RECEIPTS SUB MITTED, ONLY PAID 1/4. STILL WAITING FOR THE REST.

WINDOWS LEAKING NOW, PANTRY DOORS FELL OFF, OVER A 100K LOSS TO US. Traded a nice Jaco for this piece of s*%^

100% agree - i wish I could afford billboards at every major intersection in North America telling folks our story and warning them to shun Forest River. Maybe we should just buy them out - fire everyone and build a decent machine that folks could be proud of and received value for the money. As it stand today Forest River is getting away with a legal form of theft.
